I apologize that it has taken me so long to complete my Topline Symposium Survey. (It was lost in the sea of paper on my desk). I can’t thank you enough for organizing the event. It was wonderful. It’s always such a pleasure to meet with other people from the Industry, both store owners and companies. It’s a treat to escape from the normal four walls of work.Every Topline event that I have attended (the Badger open house, the Burt’s Bees training in Portsmouth and the Symposium) have all been very informative and inspiring. The relaxed, intimate atmosphere is very enjoyable. The larger expos and table top shows are usually so crazy that there is not much time for actual connection – it’s al orders and business. It is such a pleasure to actually connect wit the people who have created such wonderful companies and Products. Events such as the Symposium certainly build my enthusiasm and loyalty. To be able to put a face with the company is a fantastic feeling. Radius and Probar, for example, now mean much more to me.
Thank you again, for giving your stores the opportunity to meet your companies. I can tell you no one else is doing it. Topline is not only “Keeping Natural Food Stores Natural”, it is also preserving the way natural food stores do business. The one-on-one personal touch is how our industry started. That integrity is what makes us authentic. These days, unfortunately, it feels as though our grassroots are being bulldozed by corporate America. Thank you for preserving that intimacy of face-to-face relations. I’m so glad that you are doing what you do.
